RapidIdentity Product Guide: Legacy UI


The Updates table displays available updates to RapidIdentity in the Available Updates table and allows administrators to upgrade their environment as a custom upgrade.

Available Updates

Available updates can be Rolling or LTS Release versions and only the updates that match the current license display in this table. 


If the environment has a RapidIdentity LTS version installed, administrators can choose to stay on the LTS version by clicking the checkbox Stay on LTS. If this box is unchecked, then the upgrade process results in the Rolling Release version being installed.

To ensure any available updates are visible, click Reload Available Versions. To install an available version, click Install.

Once a version is selected and confirmed, everything in the cluster upgrades at the same time.

Custom Upgrade

Custom Upgrades allow administrators to select a specific RapidIdentity build to use to upgrade their environment.  


There are 3 inputs necessary to perform a custom upgrade:

  1. Filename

  2. Timestamp

  3. Checksum

The filename for the RapidIdentity version. Example: "rapididentity-2017.7.14-branch-5.0-RID-181-1500054458936.zip".


The timestamps of the RapidIdentity version. Example: "2017-07-15T09:00:04.905Z".


The checksum value to verify the RapidIdentity build version. Example: "bc422aec2740570bb570d6f9ed5eada28ac69697".
