RapidIdentity Product Guide: Legacy UI

RESTPoints Example

The following example describes how an Action Set called Reflector can be created such that a RESTPoint will return a JSON of all the possible values for Reflector input properties.

Reflector Input Properties

This Action Set invokes the createRESTPointResponse action, found within the Network Actions. This action can return metadata including headers and status code, and also return a string for application/json or application/xml.

Once the Action Set exists, the RESTPoint can be defined. The example RESTPoints shown here all produce an application/JSON, however, they only differ in that they consume either a form, JSON or XML.

Finally, create an Action Set using the Web Services Adapter to invoke each RESTPoint and then run the Action Set.
