End-Of-Life Announcement for Flash-Dependent User Interfaces
Identity Automation has begun the End-of-Life (EOL) process for the RapidIdentity Portal, Connect, and Folders Flash-dependent User Interfaces.
These User Interfaces are being discontinued in conjunction with the end-of-life of Adobe’s Flash technology at the end of 2020. As a replacement for these User Interfaces, customers are encouraged to enable and use the enhanced User Interfaces for Portal and Connect. The latest version of these User Interfaces will be available in the upcoming Long Term Support (LTS) releases of RapidIdentity, 2019.12.15 LTS. A new User Interface for Folders will be available before the end of September of 2020.

To help facilitate your organization’s transition to the newly enhanced User Interface, Identity Automation has developed a transition guide titled “RapidIdentity Legacy UI to New UI Overview”, which is available in the Product Guides section of the Customer Portal. There are also educational videos that outline features and functions of the enhanced User Interfaces as compared to the Flash-dependent UI available at https://identityautomation.force.com/support/s/trainingnewui.

Flash-dependent UI End-of-Life and End of Support | The last day to receive service & support for ALL RapidIdentity Flash-dependent User Interfaces. Identity Automation will not provide any fixes, security, or otherwise, for Flash-dependent User Interfaces after this date. | December 4, 2020 |
During this transition period, customers may continue to use and receive support and bug fixes for the Flash-dependent User Interface available in the 2019.12.15 LTS release of RapidIdentity for Portal, Connect, and Folders. No further enhancements or improvements will be made to the Flash-dependent User Interfaces in RapidIdentity beyond the 2019.12.15 LTS release.
